Tickets

We bought our plane tickets today! It took several hours to investigate all of the options and all of the possible flights. We are going to have a 21 hour layover in London. I know that sounds extreme - but it is actually great for us as Mike's parents are a two hour train ride from London so we're planning to see them during the layover.

We bought a round trip ticket that is not on the adoption fare. The adoption fares were twice the price of the tickets we could find online. We will have to pay for change fees or may end up buying one way tickets from Kiev. Hopefully things will work out and we'll be able to use the return ticket - but based on the stories we've heard that doesn't sound too likely.

This was a huge hurdle that was on the To Do List....and I'm so relieved that we can cross it off! Only another 3,000 things to do... :o) Just kidding!

Your London layover sounds very exciting! Not only you won't miss your connecting flight, but also you'll see your in-laws! When are you leaving?
