Heritage Camp

Next weekend we are off to Winter Park, CO for Russian/Eastern European Heritage Camp. I originally thought this was just a Colorado family camp - but I got our registration back and now realize it is open to all USA families. Are any other Ukie families who read this blog going? Next year I'll try to post the link earlier and hopefully we can meet some of you! There are separate camps for each country/area so this is not just for EE adoptions.

We are all really excited about the camp - Nicholas will have a bunch of activities from learning traditional UA dances and songs to swimming and other camp activities. While the kids are off having their fun, the parents have parenting an adopted child classes and also fun classes like learning to create pysanky eggs. I'll post photos when we get back.

How cool - I've never heard of this! We'll have to keep it in mind for next year.

I had not heard of this, but it looks like a really neat camp for the family. I'm going to add the link to my favorites, because it would be great to attend sometime, especially since it's in Colorado which would be vacation in itself.

Thanks for posting about this.

Thanks for the link, I sent it to Z's friends family in Castle Rock. I am sure you will connect with many more great families. Have fun!
