Emma had her first veggie Easter night. And since my nickname for her is Sweet Pea - it's only fitting her first veggie was peas. She seemed eager when I set them on her tray...
Her face after the first spoonful tells it all...
...but after the shock wore off then she seemed to like them.
On Friday and Saturday we got the total of all our winter snow in one storm! We got about 18 to 24 inches. Our electricity went out around 1pm Saturday afternoon and we gathered all the oil lamps and camping lanterns. We had drawn pitchers of water since our well pump is electric but instead we decided to make it more fun and melted snow for our soup and hot chocolate. :o) We just started playing the board game "Trouble" when the electrictiy came back on....we were all disappointed because we were having such a good time in the candle light. So - we turned off all the lights and still played in the dark! :o)
The next day the sun was out and the beautiful blue Colorado sky was incredible...
Nicholas and Mike went snowmobiling in the back yard...
Here's Emma in her Tulip Hat before church...
and Nicholas before church...
and here's Emma in her new sunglasses...Mike now calls her Elton John! :o)
and here's Nicholas doing his homework...and this might be a first - Nicholas smiling during homework...! :o)

Tara, I enjoyed reading it! Emma looked more like Mike I think. You looked great! --Diana
