Grandfather Frost

Last Sunday we went to a local FRUA event. Moscow Nights performed and they were great! The troop is comprised of young Russian singers, dancers and muscians.


There was a lot of audience interaction - and Nicholas was pulled up on stage to play the spoons! After some instruction - he was banging away.


After the performance we had tea and cookies and then Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden arrived! Nicholas spoke with Grandfather Frost in English. His Ukrainian is just too rusty. Mike responded for Nicholas to a couple of Ukrainan phrases like - "What is your name"

We had a really fun time at this event!!

Here's a couple photos of Emma. She's really starting to discover her world. She is now reaching out to touch objects and focusing on things around her. Here she is studying a stuffed lion.
